Just as an FYI this licensing issue was raised by the ServiceMix guys a
while back on the legal-discuss list, see
http://apache.markmail.org/message/7no3tdx6nh37stpw

ServiceMix is doing the same thing as we're discussing here and they're a
bit further along so its probably worth having a look at what they've done.
