Hi Daniel, could you open a "new feature" Jira for this please? I have created a new version tag, SDO-Java-1.0. If you set the fix version to that then it's clear that there is community interest in getting this into the next release. You seem to have a good grasp of the code in this area; if you were able to supply patch for this then the chances of making the next release would be very high ;-)
