RELEASE NOTES - 1) Under DAS Samples 3rd point , we say Integration with dbConfig, but in 1st point we do not name the database utility, so is a bit confusing - what is dbConfig? Can we say the first point - Introduced database utility (dbConfig) to create, populate and refresh canned sample dbs 2) in sample readmes - 1> companyweb readme is still stale - talks about canned db steps which are irrelevant now. 2> sample-ajax-das reademe is a bit stale - name of utility is mentioned as "dbsetup" - should be dbConfig. 3> Samples - (top level) readme - Concurrently -> needs Concurrency In both 1> and 3>, the db url for server.xml does not mention ;create=true , without this the samples will never work. e.g. url="jdbc:derby:c:\apache-tomcat-5.5.20\Databases/ajaxdastest ;create=true" Other than the above, I tried bin and src destros, build, test, samples, and have not come across any issues. So, as such the samples war will deploy and user using these will face no issues, but following samples readmes will be confusing for users. So, here's my -1 (non-binding).
