Let me try to clarify here : Tuscany SCA uses Tuscany SDO 1.0 release. Tuscany SDO releases (1.0 and the new 1.1) are all based on the SDO 2.1 specification.
My understanding is that EMF SDO is based on a older version of SDO specification and we are not using it in Tuscany.
