as bill has suggested, it does appear that psycopg is the preferred from what i've seen. popy is outdated and (i believe) merged with PyGreSQL which is the one that PostgreSQL has in their tree as it's been around the longest. however rather than just talking about another adapter because your current one doesn't work, i'm more curious as to why you are having problems with PyGreSQL. i've never had a problem with it... how did you do your installation?
