I would add to that list another textbook: How to Design Programs http://htdp.org It goes slower than Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, but is also a very good text. I have to admit I felt sorta sleepy on the first few sections, but starting around Section 9 things picked up quite a bit and I woke up.
