It may be worthwhile to note that "laziness" isn't necessarily a derogatory term in programming circles. To quote Eric S. Raymond, who turned me on to Python as much as any other (in _The Art of Unix Programming_), "Constructive laziness is one of the cardinal virtues of the master programmer."
