I take it back, it looks like they are finally doing something. I've been reading about Python 3000 for at least 5 years now and just kind of assumed it was an idealist wish list rather than a reality. Having said that I still think most of the things that I see written about being "in 3000" are wishful thinking rather than actual scoped features!
