So far you got TG 1.0.4 .4, a very well tested and featured stable release. All the effort is right now focused in a near release of TG 2, this one it's built on top of Pylons. I think this frameworks is a great one, at last for me the productivity time increased a lot. As a comment, you might consider using an ORM like SqlAlchemy, this tools are very handy and they provide a set of tools to dynamically build your forms from your model ( FormAlchemy, DBSProckets for instance ).
