I'm not sure what you mean by GUI interactive?
However, at the Python interactive prompt, I can
"clear the screen" using a simple, old-fashioned way:
>>> for i in range(1,50):
>>> print("\n")
That prints 50 newlines, thus effectively "clearing the screen."
