i got a new MBP from work about half a year ago with leopard 10.5.6 installed, and it came with 2.5.1. (i've been able to build and install 2.6 and 3.0 without conflicts with apple's version as long as i modified my setup.py with the correct lib and inc locations, and ran "make altinstall".) -wesley - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Core Python Programming", Prentice Hall, (c)2007,2001 "Python Fundamentals", Prentice Hall, (c)2009 http://corepython.com wesley.j.chun :: wescpy-at-gmail.com python training and technical consulting cyberweb.consulting : silicon valley, ca http://cyberwebconsulting.com _______________________________________________ Tutor maillist - Tutor@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/tutor
