* names will vary in length in a questionnaire or poll (which this appears to be) * answers will always be represented by a single digit * area code (at least in US) will always be 3 digits Of course, those assumptions could be wrong, but I tried to allow for them just in case. Depending on the use, it very well might be overkill...
