I just thought of something, and it can't be that the folder isn't writeable. Because I asked the user for the logfile that my program produces, and it is located in the same folder as where the database should be. So if the folder wasn't writeable, the creation of the logfile would have caused an error too. So I'm a bit stuck about this one. Timo
