Are there really BIG differences between version 2.6 and 2.7?
No, however there is quite a lot of info at
http://docs.python.org/dev/whatsnew/2.7.html that details the changes,
mostly 3.x features/bug-fixes back-ported to 2.7 to provide an easier
upgrade path.
