Actually I don't think I discuss it. I only mention default arguments very briefly because they are not a standard programming feature. My tutor tries to teach general programming not Python specifics so it doesn't do much more than mention default args. (But maybe I should add a warning about this gotcha, it does catch a lot of folks iout...)
