boB, Having been the emacs advocate, I feel some obligation to try to help. However, 1) my last Windows use is a dim memory, and 2) I am just now embarking on a period of travel and uncertain connectivity. So, apologies, but I will not be able to provide much (any?) help in the immediate future. (If emacs seems like you will stick to it, do have a look at orgmode.) Best and good luck, Brian vdB
