Sorry. At some point I guess Thunderbird decided HTML should be default and switched all my account settings and made new ones default to HTML. (Or package developers, hard to say. Thanks for the heads up)
Sage brings together an array of different open-source mathematical libraries in an attempt to create a full graphical environment for mathematical work in the vein of Mathematica or Maple. In other words, sage is more like an application where sympy is more like a library.
