I've been thinking of what kind of info. I can have on a new Tux Paint web page. (I really want to eventually retire what I have now, since it's a bit cluttered, not very friendly-looking, and not particularly 'cute' :) )
One of the ideas I've had was to let people volunteer to demonstrate Tux Paint (e.g., at libraries, for Parent/Teacher Associations (PTAs), for schools, etc.) I'm, of course, happy to demo Tux Paint in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento valley (where I live). If I were to put a list together, would other folks be interested in being listed for their locales? One other idea I had was to take a map of the world and put little dots down for where all of the devlopers live, to give visitors a sense of how international the development has been. Remember, the target audience has probably not had much contact with 'Open Source' development, and I see Tux Paint as a way to get the idea out to more people. ;) (I was thinking of having a whole "What is Open Source? How do you make money?" FAQ, too. ;) ) -bill! -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Was I useful?
