----- Forwarded message from John Popplewell ----- bill,
enclosed: another attempt. This one will definitely produce a 'stderr.txt' if printing is attempted. It implements banding in the style of Win3.1 and still works on the two physical printers I have (local and networked), and the virtual postscript printers that have provided a bit of variety! ------------ As before, unzip and make sure the enclosed executable replaces the existing 'tuxpaint.exe' file. Run the program using 'tuxpaint.exe --printcfg' and hold down the ALT key whilst clicking on 'Print' and then choose your printer and settings. A file 'stderr.txt' will be produced for each run. Please send it back with your report. Thanks. ------------ It should work on other systems (win2k, XP) as-is. Here's hoping it works this time, cheers, John. PS these latest executables have different version information so they shouldn't cause any confusion. ----- End forwarded message ----- Thanks John. To those who wish to try this out, you can fetch the ZIP file from: ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/nbs/unix/x/tuxpaint/testbuilds/ It's under 50Kbytes. Thanks! -bill! -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Got kids?
