I think that's very cool, but I also suggested talking to John, to see
if perhaps he can make the current Windows installer easy to translate to
various languages.

That way, Mugunth won't need to duplicate the installation work.
Nor would anyone else who decided they wanted to make an installer
specific to their locale.

It'd also be nice to have ONE installer which, like Tux Paint, would simply
run in different languages based on environment settings, or user config.


So on a machine set up to display everything in Spanish, the installer
would show Spanish instructions, and a Spanish copy of the GPL.
For a machine set up to display Tamil, it would show it all in Tamil.
And so on...


What do you think, John?  And Darrell - do you think we could apply this
kind of idea to the OS X installer?  (And Shard, is there an 'installer'
for BeOS?  Or is Tux Paint just a ZIP archive?)
