Bill,

TuxPaint is *AWESOME* !!! I teach in an elementary school and we have installed the software in our computer lab. I wish I could have had my digital voice recorder running when I introduced the software to the kids. They went absolutely wild! You would have loved to hear them I'm sure.

We had v0.9.12 and just upgraded to v0.9.13, the new features are amazing. We especially love the stamps and the sound effects. The GUI is very intuitive, I've got kindergarten kids coming up with the most amazing abstract art. Teachers love it too, they all look at me like I have three heads when I tell them it's free software. I then try to explain open source to them and their eyes glaze over, LOL...

Anyway, my questions and requests:

1) We are seeing a few pesky stability problems, not sure why. We are using P4 Gateways with 128mb RAM, 16mb video cards running @ 800x600x16, Win98SE. The lab is networked, but all copies are installed locally. There is no consistent pattern to the crashes, but most seem to do with using the brush panel (different things each time). Usually the app just abruptly exits, but sometimes it locks hard (requiring a cold boot). Is there anything I can do to help determine what's going on?

2) We get a lot of kids printing by accident. A confirmation screen after the Print button is pressed would help.

3) If the eraser could be resized, that would be great.

4) We can't find Pluto! Was it left out for a reason?

5) Some automotive/transportation stamps would be great. Also, people.

That's all for now. Thanks for such an amazing program!
