I have this in Tux Paint's "to-do" list from long, long ago:
* Translated sound effects not working under XP for some reason.
(Works okay under Win98 and Win2K. - Gabriel G., 2002.09.13;
still a problem as of 0.9.7, 2003.01.27)
Did we ever figure it out? I have XP Professional (from circa 2001) on
my work laptop, so I can test it later today. I thought I'd ask first,
in case this was just an out-of-date to-do item ;^)
