Well, the children wouldn't do this.  Their parents/teachers/etc. would do
that for them.  They can take photos, transfer the photo from their camera
to their computer (via gPhoto, media reader, whatever,) then import it
into Tux Paint as "Coloring Book Image" and Tux Paint would convert the
photo-realistic image to lineart and load it as a coloring book image.

Just an idea.
