First off, happy birthday to John! It's his birthday today!
Secondly, he's built an 'rc3' of Tux Paint, and mentions:
I managed to get the icon in the top-left corner to appear with TPConfig
and, with the full installer/zip versions, all the correct files should
be in the correct places.
I've pulled them down to my FTP site, and you can get them here:

Also, I've found someone who's offered to spend 10 minutes to try and build
