It's either oversimplified examples on the mainstream news shows or
the graphics-jammed, overjargoned business channels (even "Main
Street, Not Wall Street" Fox Business) and nobody who watches TV knows
that much about why the economy's so screwed up:

The article makes a very good point that CNBC and FBN are really more
stock market channels than they are business news channels (there's
also Bloomberg, but almost no one watches that channel).
