But Ralph Edwards Productions is still in existence, run by his son
Gary and co-producing "People's Court"--making them essentially the
one indie production company that's been in business all throughout
U.S. television history.  Even though at least one Goodson-Todman
format has been on television every week since 1950, the company that
is now FremantleMedia North America has owned the Goodson-Todman shows
since 1997.
