Could be worse. You might have watched "The Mentalist," which started off strong but has gotten lamer each week. Last night, the writers really indid themselves (that's the opposite of outdid, right?) with a confrontation scene between the victim's father and the suspect of the moment that was so contrived and derivative that I've decided this show isn't worth any more of my time.
