--- 8 p.m. Yes, it ruined marriages, was accused of hiring actors to "take" the test, and might have been the worst possible show in Mark L. Wahlberg's career (topping "Temptation Island" and Russian Roulette) ... but the ultimate indignity for "The Moment of Truth" may be "SMALLVILLE" (CW) using it as a plot device to get both Lois and Chloe to admit they have puppy dog eyes for Clark. 8:30 p.m. "KATH & KIM" (NBC) airs episode #4, a prom themed episode. There will be wacky hair, y'all! (And maybe a punchline ... unless that's been rescheduled, too.) 9:30 p.m. Joe the Plumber guests on "THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE PRE-WEEKEND UPDATE" (NBC). 10 p.m. The gang kidnaps a newspaper critic on "IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA" (FX). Which, as always, is a bold fresh piece of humanity. The gang at "ER" (NBC) disagrees on how to treat a gunshot victim. I suppose "with respect" is outta the question. Elvis announces he's performing a concert in memory of his mother on "LIFE ON MARS" (ABC). Will our hero get fake punched by Harvey Keitel again? Several healthy 11-year-old boys in Georgia die of heart attacks on "ELEVENTH HOUR" (CBS). Dr. Jacob Hood suspects it's because they just heard Madonna's going to be single again. 10:30 p.m. It's easier to get "better friends" than to be one on "THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM" (Comedy Central). NIGHT LIGHTS * If loving you is wrong, "The Daily Show" doesn't want to be Robert Reich. * Robert Greenwald outfoxes Colbert. * John McCain returns to see Dav... Katie Couric. * Sen. Joe Biden shoots the breeze and/or Moose with Jay. * Josh Brolin overdubs with Conan. * Jimmy boogies with Mark Wahlberg. --- But the conversation doesn't end here, add your own suggestions or discuss mine on the "TV or Not TV" Google list.
