MWC debuted on April 5, 1987, and that episode of "Night Court" aired on February 12, 1987, so Buck would have been just roughly 4-6 months younger in that episode than he appeared in the MWC pilot. Was that dog a 3 year old Briard? http://www.tvacres.com/dogs_sheep_buck.htm Buck's real name was Michael "Mike," a 3 and 1/2 year old briard, a breed of French sheep dog. Mike was trained by Steven Ritt, who originally found Buck through an ad in "The Los Angeles Times". Female rock star Janet Jackson used Michael in the opening of her video "When I Think Of You."
