I'm not sure why everyone is getting down on Heroes now - yes, the show hit a sophomore slump, and yes, it was a little slow out of the gate this year, but the last two or three episodes have been quite good - this week's episode felt like a season 1 episode to me.
I don't know - maybe it was just me, but I seem to remember being sort of 'meh' regarding the first few episodes of season 1 - but the show rewarded its viewers with a slow but steady build to the season climax. I think that's the direction they're following this year, and so far I dig it.
