This is incredibly common now days. NBC is instead of center cutting (Dropping the edges), they're letterboxing SNL. Frankly, the center cutting thing annoys the crap out of those of us who DO have HD and Widescreen.

Does anyone outside of DC have this problem? I'd like to know if I need to complain to the local affiliate, DirecTV or the network. I suspect it's one of the latter two.
