After a casting notice for an ad set in an "ESPN NCAA Call Center"
looking for, among other roles, a Tennessee hick slut and a Notre Dame
Asian nerd, was printed on anti-ESPN blogs, the Worldwide Leader said
that they would not go ahead with the campaign:

The premise was that these stereotypical students were calling viewers
asking them to watch the telecasts--sounds like one of those promo
campaigns with lots of little pieces to use in promos for specific
games, like Bob Goulet's songs for various teams in that more
memorable campaign.
