I had my annoyance at and dismissal of the movie ready to go because it did not replicate the look and feel of the original series, but I didn't need to fire them up. Maybe it is because I've read DC Comics for 40 plus years, but I can accept cosmetic changes (the toggle-free bridge, short-sleeve dresses on female crew members, a Korean Sulu rather than a Japanese Sulu.) much easier these days. All I ask is that the personalities of the characters remain consistent. Everything else is window dressing. Greg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Like TV only smarter.
