"Talkshow with Spike Feresten" will air for an hour at 11 p.m. in place of the lame duck "MADtv" starting Jan. 17, with hopefully bigger name guests than the D-listers that have been on lately (Feresten cashed in all of his "Seinfeld" chips the first season)--it's not so much a test for a permanent spot at 11 on Saturdays as it is a test for a possible weeknight gig if Fox can't get Leno or Kimmel (it's been rumored that Ailes wants an 11 p.m. Shep Smith Fixed Noise newscast along with some sort of 11:35 p.m. talk show):
