I watched it with the impression that Colbert and company were trying to do to 
Christmas specials the same thing they do to pundit shows - show how full of 
crap they are.  I liked the music, though I've never seen Toby Keith so dull 
and lifeless.

Did anyone else suffer through this last night? My god, it was
painfully unfunny, especially considering the talent involved. And
even though Colbert said that the completed tape was shown to a studio
audience to get a "real" reaction, my Spidey Laugh Track Sense was
buzzing wildly.
