BBC1 decided to start running its new Kenneth Branagh detective drama
"Wallander" against the inexplicably popular "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me
Out of Here!" on ITV but figured that only the first of three 90-
minute episodes would be hurt by the reality show. Well, guess what--
even though "I'm a Celeb" ended its run Friday night (I'd tell you who
the winner was, but you and I have never heard of him), ITV ran a
*recap* show Sunday night against the second episode of "Wallander"--
and Branagh ran a close second to "I'm a Celeb":

Perhaps Ken should go on the show next year--and for added fun, they
can book his ex Emma Thompson as a contestant, too, so they can both
see their careers go down in flames while they glare at each other in
front of the cameras. Talk about your Bush Tucker Trials!
