Among the items on the Internet Archive are a complete day's
programming from CBS station WJSV in Washington (now WTOP). A great
time capsule, in which you hear how bad radio soaps really were,
Arthur Godfrey (only a few years before he broke nationally) being
very un-radio announcerly as the morning drive DJ, John Charles Daly
in the job he preferred to be known by instead of hosting "What's My
Line?" (anchoring coverage of a Presidential speech), along with doing
some booth announcing, and more:

Also, a little bit of a Senators/Indians baseball game, announced by
legendary pitcher Walter "Big Train" Johnson, proving that they were
hiring ex-jocks back then.
