To satisfy DOJ demands made when Clear Channel went private earlier
this year, the Evil Empire's giving CBS hot AC KHMX ("The Mix") and
Spanish-language KLOL ("Mega FM"), in exchange for Top 40 KBKS ("Kiss
FM") in Seattle, Jack FM WQSR in Baltimore, rhythmic Top 40 KXJM
("Jammin' Hits and Hip-Hop 107.5") and oldies KLTH ("K-HITS") in
Portland and another Jack, KQJK in Sacramento:

The Evil Empire still owns 6 stations in Houston, including the
dominant news-talk stations, and adds to their portfolio of six
stations in Seattle (including the heritage KJR call letters on AM and
FM), three stations in Baltimore, five stations in Portland and four
stations in Sacramento--the Eye adds to its portfolio of four stations
in Houston (including the heritage KILT) and still has four stations
in Seattle, four in Baltimore, four in Portland (including heritage
AAA KINK, celebrating its 40th year on the air this year) and five in
Sacramento, proving that the more things change... (although CC will
probably drop the Jack branding on those stations, since they don't
use format names they don't own).
