I'm not a list-makin' guy, despite having to grudgingly vote on end-of- year "bests" as a member of a critics' circle. So I'll recuse myself from floating a list of the 5 funniest women in the history of TV. It's premature to even think of Wiig in historical terms - good or bad. My point was that I don't get the disdain for her. I think she's talented and often funny, despite the tedium of some sketches. I very much liked the A-Holes, Penelope the one-upper, and Aunt Linda the first couple of times I saw her do those very different characters. Of course, even the show's supporters will admit that they go to the well way too often on SNL And finally, dare I say that I find her sexy? O.K. There! I said it.
