Although it hasn't been picked up in some major markets, pickups by
WNBC in New York and Tribune-owned CW afiil KTLA in the Southland have
given scrappy indie syndicator Program Partners the goahead to
announce that the talk show from Donny's sister will go ahead for this
fall, originating from Las Vegas, where she and Donny have a long term
contract:

Marie's show joins a barren lineup of new series for the fall, due to
retrenchment from stations (many of them who didn't bother attending
the NATPE convention this week, the longtime coronation home of
syndicated series) who may go for additional airings of what they have
instead of new shows--right now, the only other new series given a go
are the talk shows of Oprah's Dr. Oz from Sony and NY urban radio DJ
Wendy Williams from indie Debmar-Mercury, while for now 20th's "The
Morning Show with Mike and Juliet" is the only series leaving the air
by fall (although Tyra's moving to the CW afternoon block from syndie,
"Judge Jeannine Piro" is trying to move into syndication from said CW
block and a couple of court shows may be joining "Judge Hatchett" in
reruns).
