Well, considering that "The Mentalist" is not just TV's No. 1 New Series but TV's No. 1 Series That Isn't "Idol," the Big Four are rolling out the procedurals for pilot season--James Hibberd of THR sorts and classifies the pilots as cops, lawyers, doctors, apocalypse, remakes or--could it be?--somewhat original ideas (and pisses off the "Jericho" nuts on the first page, which is linked below):
