One of the local television broadcasters in Wichita (I think it's the NBC affiliate, if I remember right) has been putting a scroll at the bottom of the screen during prime time shows lately which says that the digital transition is about due.
What's so ironic about it, is that the scroll is almost completely down in the over scan region at the very bottom of the screen. It probably looks fine on their high definition monitors, but it's practically invisible to those people with the analog television sets that they are so desperately trying to reach. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
