Most of the laws against kiddie porn are used to indict for
possession, not transport or production.  The Clinton-era DOJ
attempted to strengthen the possession argument, but got their hands
slapped (albeit slightly) by the SCOTUS.

Also, there's nothing in the affidavit that says former FOX News
staffer Aaron Bruns was actually "doing the deed"; he got hit with the
same charges that the NPR guy did.  It would seem there could be more
of a connection made along the lines of "Why are DC-based employees of
national news organizations so interested in media of kiddie-
diddling?" than to making the query more employer-specific.
