Oh, you're like me with the new 32-inch HDTV -- and more surprised by
the sound quality than the picture quality. However, I thought the band
was too loud and drowned out Kelly's vocals, especially on the second
song ("I Don't Hook Up").

I finally got my 32-inch HDTV and I'm surprised at how much I like the
musical performances. Digital sound is pristine. Kelly Clarkson's SNL
performances were interesting to me and I've never liked her music. I
liked her interplay with her band.
I think live musical performances will unexpectedly get a boost from
HDTV.
