Despite the just-try-to-pre-empt-this 35-minute time slot for the
premiere of "Osbournes: Reloaded," 16 Fox affiliates didn't air it at
all, ten more delayed into late-night and the SInclair stations only
cleared it after Fox screened the entire show for the company
(everyone else based their decisions on those tacky promos and a six-
minute clip reel):

In Cincy, WXIX started their 10 p.m. news at 9:25 p.m. out of "Idol"
and ran a severe weather special at 10:30 p.m. to get back on track.
The variety show, which already ran into problems when producers
FremantleMedia tried to cut the salaries of the WGA writers working on
the show, claiming that they weren't responsible for "unscripted"
portions, finished fourth in its time slot despite the sweet "Idol"
lead-in--Fox had planned to air the six episodes as specials, but we
have the feeling the other give will air elsewhere and not on Fox
prime time.
