This was discussed on WFAN yesterday. ESPN will not allow any of their talent on WFAN (unless they are promoting a book) even though a number of them had long relationships with the WFAN hosts. There have been spats between the two stations over the other's presence at football games (WFAN has the Giants, WEPN (the ESPN affiliate) has the Jets). According to the FAN, the Mets are denying the statements and implications in the article. WFAN was told that if they let Russo to Opening Day, they would also have to let WEPN there and they're not doing that. In the Mike and the Mad Dog break up at WFAN, Bob Raissman, the article's author, has written nothing but pro-Chris "Mad Dog" Russo articles. I guess Mad Dog got custody of Raissman in the divorce. Mike Francessa has called Raissman "Dog's Guy" over the years. TVG --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV .... Smart (TV) People on Ice!
