In the time slot where Channel 4 normally airs "Simpsons" reruns, the
commercial "minority-appeal" network will air for five consecutive
days in July "Life Class: Today's Nude," where viewers will be
invited to sketch pictures of nude models while artists offer
suggestions and commentary, three hours before the 9 p.m. "watershed"
that divides family and adult programming on British TV:

Predictably, the PTC-ish blue noses Mediawatch UK have already raised
their objections to the series, while a Tory party functionary has
said that if the series fulfills its claims to be educational, he has
nothing against it. Considering the time of year and C4's usual
summer franchise, I would think that he would consider it a better
choice than a half-hour of "Big Brother Live."
