The TV honors from the same group that give out film awards earlier in
the year honored "Mad Men" for "Best International Series" over "TDS,"
"Dexter" and "The Wire," while Kenneth Branagh's detective series
(heading for "Masterpiece Mystery" this summer) won for best drama
series over "Doctor Who," "Shameless" and "Spooks" (or "MI:5," as we
call it here) and the teen drama "Skins" won an audience poll over a
mixed bag including "Wallander," the never-ending "Coronation Street,"
"The X Factor" and their version of "The Apprentice":
