Good lord that was as tiring as the entire season has been, and the
allegedly shocking "Redemption Chapter One" cliffhanger was weak and
predictable.

I'm actually kind of annoyed Heroes will be back with 18 episodes next
year and am not thrilled with whatever course correction Bryan Fuller
allegedly did these last 4-5 episodes. Standalone episodes (the supposed
refocus) could be effective, but the sneak preview of the fall season
doesn't seem to suggest that.

And once again ... the new season would appear to begin with everyone
having parted ways only to bunch up to face crisis X instead of being an
actual team. Not every season has to be the movie "Crash."

Parkman's actions would seem to be their universe's Final Crisis.

Hiro and Ando ... well, they've been off in their own little show for
the most part since season one.

Nicki or whatever new identity they have for her: Why is Ali Larter
still on the show?

HRG: Same old same old.

Claire: Do some homework, stop being attacked and become either Oracle
or Batgirl. Wonder Woman is outta the question at this point. They
dropped that ball with Nikki.

The Petrelli Family: Ugh. Too much mythology, and given that ending, the
writers love it too much to actually just get rid of Peter, Angela, and
Nathan.

Peter: Has powers? Doesn't have powers? Has everyone's powers? Has
Sylar's powers?

Isaac: Still narrating. Still the Professor X? Irrelevant?
