Former Washington Post reporter T.R. Reid says that "Sick Around America," a March episode of the PBS newsdoc series intended to be an indictment of the U.S. health care system, was "censored" by the series producers to look supportive of mandated private insurance, so he's ended his relationship with them--"Frontline" responds that the producers still have the final word, they wanted a more "balanced" view and that when they have an on-camera correspondent like Lowell Bergman or Hendrick Smith supplementing or taking over for Will Lyman's narration, it's to "personalize" a potentially-dry story for the viewers:
